Bonduelle Northern Europe is one of the regions leading in realizing our mission for 2025. We are a commercial organization based in Eindhoven. We are responsible for the Benelux, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. For the accounting department we are looking for:
Team Lead Accounting
40 hours per week
In this role you will be responsible for daily financial operations, managing a team of accounting staff, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, preparing annual accounts, coordinating audits, implementing internal controls, and staying updated on accounting regulations. Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
You are part of the Finance team and report directly to the CFO of Bonduelle Northern Europe.
Responsibilities: What do you do?
Financial reporting: Ensuring that the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process is administratively sound and efficient, as well as an accurate and timely preparation of the annual accounts.
Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of 4 accounting employees, providing guidance, support and training.
Compliance: Oversee the recording and classification of financial transactions and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and other compliance requirements.
Process improvement: Identify opportunities to standardize accounting processes, improve efficiency, and improve the overall effectiveness of the accounting team.
Troubleshooting: Address and resolve accounting issues, discrepancies and questions in a timely manner.
Communication: Effectively communicating financial information to key stakeholders, both within and outside the finance department.

We are looking for a colleague who:
Has a completed HBO or WO education in business economics or accountancy, supplemented with the right work experience in a comparable position;
Has an affinity with accounting standards and regulations (IFRS, Belgium, Scandinavia, GAAP);
Combines organizational awareness with results orientation and problem-solving skills;
Is proactive and shows ownership;
Looks at data accurately and critically;
Has an affinity with Excel and ERP systems (Cognos, JDE);
Knowledge of French language (considered a plus).
