As the Vice President of General Management - Lending Innovation, you must be customer obsessed, using customer data and insights to develop strategy. You must have strong collaboration skills with our QUAD partners (Design, Technology, Data & Analytics and Product) as well as key cross functional partners (Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Controls), and the flexibility to adapt to internal and competitive market dynamics.
Job responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager of Alternative Lending, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development of new lending products including defining the core value proposition, product positioning, and customer benefits.
Develop P&L and oversee ongoing financial forecasting and budgeting in partnership with Finance and Risk.
Influence all aspects of the go-to-market strategy.
Use customer data and insights to inform the end-to-end customer experience across channels and define the target audience.
Conduct competitive benchmarking and synthesize into strategic insights that can be leveraged in ongoing strategy development.
Once the product is launched, you will be accountable for managing and growing the business.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Marketing, Product, Analytics, Legal, Finance, Design and Risk Management partners to ensure the product strategy meets business objectives and customer needs.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
8+ years general management, product strategy or product management experience
Consumer Lending experience is required; preference for those with Credit Card and BNPL/Point-of-Sale Lending experience
Proven track record of managing a new business or product launch
Strong analytical skills; past experience in credit risk and financial modeling
Able to analyze opportunities, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively (both verbal and written) to all levels of management

Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred
