  Position Overview

  We are seeking an innovative leader, who can ensure we have strategies and scalability to execute our sales motions for our construction businesses. As the sales leader for Autodesk's Construction Business, you will report to the VP Emerging Business.

  Responsibilities

  Business Development and Revenue Generation

  Tracks, identifies, develops and pursues opportunities for new and existing clientsLeads and supports negotiations with clients, partners, and consultantsEnsures systems to track progressLeads capture activitiesServes as advisor on pricingUses networks to promote AutodeskBudget owner and need to be able to effectively manage short and long-term tradeoffsEnsures compliance and role model of Autodesk Culture CodeKeeps abreast of trends in business environment globallyStrong talent management capability, talent builder, ability to influence and motivate global organization

  Global Leadership

  Our company and customers span the globe, with major hubs in multiple global cities, it is imperative that this individual be able to lead effectively in a global capacity, recognizing and respecting various cultural norms, implementing approaches and initiatives that are effective anywhere in the world. In a role of this importance and influence, it is expected that this person be inherently geared toward being a natural leader who can work with multiple types of people, at any level, and have the capacity to innovate and solve problems. This leader will need to not just lead their own team, but also work in conjunction with GM Strategy owners, as well as the broader company Go-to-Market teams, balancing and creating understanding when acquisition companies may deploy different processes and approaches than the broader company.

  Optimize Infrastructure and Processes

  This leader will have a passion for looking for opportunities to scale, particularly with systems, processes, and tools. You will be looking for process improvement opportunities to facilitate faster, higher quality experiences to enable future scale and growth. The ability to use data and analytics to help elevate the function and set the stage for future scalable systemic processes is important.

  Operational Execution

  It is imperative to be able to look across the portfolio and look for ways to standardize and take out duplication of effort. We will look to optimize our sales approach etc for all products/businesses to create clearer touchpoints, better execution, and faster growth.

  Culture Steward

  Minimum Qualifications

  15+ years of broad business leadership experience, including 10+ years in sales, and 8+ years in the software industry, with SaaS experience5+ years minimum of experience partnering and influencing at the CEO Staff levelStrong cross-functional leader who can effectively partner across all functions and levelsProven ability to design and execute high performing teamsPeople-focused leader with provided ability to build creative, collaborative teams; develop people; and link performance to overall high-growth business objectivesCrisp, clear communicator at all levels internally and externallyBalanced leader that makes recommendations based on data and EQ; Analytical with intuitionCreative problem-solver who is an active listener that seeks out contextGlobal experience and willingness to travel globally as needed

  Salary transparency

  Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $380,000 and $522,500. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
