VCA Alderwood Companion Animal Hospital located in Lynnwood, Washington is looking for Veterinary Assistant to join their 5-doctor Small Animal Practice!

　　We are looking for an experienced (minimum 1 year) Veterinary Assistant or CVA to provide excellent patient care with a focus on wellness and client education. We are willing to train the right person. Veterinary Assistants are responsible for preparing exam rooms for the doctors and assist in providing care for the patients hospitalized in the treatment area.

　　Schedule: Full-time and Part-Time opportunities. Monday-Saturday.

　　Compensation: The pay range for this position is $20 – 24 / hour. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.

　　As a member of the VCA Alderwood Companion team, you will support the Technician and Doctor team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

　　Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures.

　　Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals.

　　Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law).

　　Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.

　　Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals.

　　Maintaining medical records.

　　Monitoring Anesthesia

　　Assisting our wonderful Doctor and Technician staff as needed.

　　Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.
