VCA Vitality Animal Hospital is looking for an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join their general practice!

　　In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.

　　Duties will include:

　　Restraint for domestic and exotic animals

　　Venipuncture for blood draws

　　Injections for vaccines and medications

　　Maintaining medical records.

　　Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients.

　　Filling prescriptions.

　　Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.

　　Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.

　　Requirements:

　　1 + years experience as a Veterinary Assistant or enrolled in a Veterinary Technician Program.

　　Passion for Veterinary Medicine

　　Schedule: Full-time opportunity with rotating Saturday shifts.

　　Compensation: Pay is $19 per hour. Pay dependent on experience.

　　Location: 4580 Commercial St S.E., Salem, OR 97302

　　South Salem is located within 1 hour of Portland, Oregon. We have tons of history in our downtown district with fun shops and boutiques.
