Standard Duties:As a Veterans Program Coordinator, you will assist in coordinating field operations for employment and training services provided through the New York State Department of Labor. You will ensure a large number of Veterans, eligible spouses and transitioning service members, secure employment. You will coordinate with DOL office managers to reinforce that policies, guidance and reporting support the priority services to Veterans across the agency. You will develop regional staffing plans in conjunction with local area staff, create and analyze management reports as well as develop and provide training to vet staff.Preferred Qualifications: Ability to initiate and maintain relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders.
