Job Title: Vehicle Maintenance Assistant Manager

　　Job Status: Year Round Full Time

　　Compensation and Benefits:

　　Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $2,923.07 to $3,153.84+biweekly amount, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

　　Job Summary:

　　Works with the Vehicle Maintenance Manager and Fleet & Transportation SeniorManager to oversee the strategic direction of the Vehicle Maintenance andWarehouse departments. Supervises the daily workflow of the VehicleMaintenance Department, including the administration of all maintenancework, the communication and scheduling of work both inside and outside thedepartment, providing staff with maximum safe equipment availability withminimized cost.

　　Basic Requirements:

　　Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.Must have a valid US Driver's LicenseHigh School degree or equivalentBending, reaching, climbingPushing/PullingProlonged standingConfined sittingEye/hand coordinationVisual concentration on equipmentConcentrated reading and writingRapid reaction to physical changes (operating equipment)Extended periods of outdoor exposureExtreme coldExtreme heat and sun exposureVariation in temperature from hot to coldDue to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background checkwill be conducted after position is accepted. This background check will bedone in accordance with standards enacted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

　　Preferred Experience and Special Skills:

　　Combination of five years of experience in the fields of master mechanics andwelding with additional experience and knowledge in basic computer,supervisory, and management techniques. Additional experience and knowledgein basic computer skills, supervision, and management techniques.Snowcat experience preferred.Trade school graduate and three years on-the-job training or an Associate'sDegree in Vehicle Maintenance Management.Supervisory Skills --2+ years of experience.Must be able to obtain a valid Colorado CDL driver's license.Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word and Excel.
