Required Skills & Experience
Understanding of Risk Assessment, Regulatory environments, operational risk and compliance
Highly analytical.
Strong written communication skills.
Ability to apply Risk Management principles.
Ability to influence.
Reports and reviews need to be crisp, concise and accurate.
Advanced PowerPoint, Excel Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
5+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Skills & Experience
Financial Services experience.
Investment bank space could be a good fit due to the quick turnaround time required.
What You Will Be Doing
Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives.
Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate.
Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance.
Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.
Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans.
Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group.
Act as a Business Execution advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management.
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large-scale solutions.
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational.
Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans.
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of business and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership.
Provide direction to a cross functional team using business expertise.
