Description
The Valuation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the valuation processes related to heavy equipment assets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to industry standards. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting decision-making processes, providing valuable insights to optimize asset utilization, and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Specific Duties Include:
Conduct thorough appraisals of equipment assets, considering factors such as age, condition, technology, and market demand.
Establish and maintain quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of valuation processes.
Collaborate with field experts and gather pertinent data to support accurate valuations.
Prepare detailed valuation reports, ensuring clarity in documentation of assessment methodologies, assumptions, and findings.
Communicate valuation results effectively to internal stakeholders and customers.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators to provide informed recommendations on equipment valuation adjustments.
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards related to equipment valuation.
Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co.
Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in heavy equipment valuation, asset appraisal, or related fields.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of the heavy equipment industry and market trends.
Familiarity with relevant valuation methodologies and tools.
