UX Lead Clinical Applications
As the UX Lead Clinical Applications at Dentsply Sirona, you will be part of the global in-house UX team. We are a global multidisciplinary team, distributed across various locations, that is responsible for all Dentsply Sirona Software solutions. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to shape and lead the UX design of our cloud based clinical and patient communication applications that empower dental practitioners and revolutionize the way dental care is delivered. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product/Solution managers, UX professionals, developers, and clinicians, to ensure that our clinical applications meet the highest standards of usability, efficiency, and effectiveness. This role is located in Zurich (hybrid work model) with 80-100% capacity in a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
UX Strategy: Develop a comprehensive UX strategy for clinical applications, aligned with the company's product vision and business objectives. Define, in collaboration with other UX team members and stakeholders the user experience goals, personas, and user journey maps to guide the development process.
Wireframing and Prototyping: Create UX-research informed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design specifications to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively. This role will require a mix of hands-on design activities beside managing and mentoring other UX professionals in the clinical applications area.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, other UX team members, software developers, and clinical experts to ensure seamless integration of design solutions into the clinical application development process. Act as a UX advocate in cross-functional discussions and decision-making.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in tech and dental care to continuously enhance the user experience and push the boundaries of innovation in clinical applications.
Managing and Mentoring People: Managing other UX designers who are part of the clinical applications area, mentoring junior UX designers within the UX team, beside managing any required external resources.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience as a UX/product designer or an Interaction designer.
A strong portfolio of previous UX design projects, showcasing the designs and the process taken to arrive at the final solution.
Experience working with a global multi-disciplinary team of UX professionals, Product/Solution Managers and Architects/technical leads throughout the design process.
Experience in choosing and applying various UCD methodologies such as prototyping, user journeys, user personas etc.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for user experience best practices.
Business English Fluency is a must. Mastery of any other languages is a plus.
Experience in designing complex B2B products is advantageous.
Ideally, experience or interest in bringing a User centric approach to organisations.
