　　The Experience Design team is responsible for designing innovative, best-in-class solutions across mobile, web and desktop platforms. We are a multi-disciplinary group of product designers, content strategists, researchers and design operations specialists that collaborate with business and technology partners across the enterprise to build exceptional digital experiences for millions of passionate clients. 　　We are seeking a seasoned Creative Director and design visionary who will be responsible for elevating and maintaining design excellence across multiple lines of business and channels. The Creative Director advocates for the clients who use our products as well as the members of their teams. They are driven by data to deliver business outcomes and are committed to leading the creation of elegantly designed simple user experiences from otherwise complex workflows.

　　In this role, you’ll take the time to understand the discovery and delivery side of XD, but also the business aspects of the digital products and solutions we create. You’ll collaborate with leaders of other XD, Product, and Engineering teams to create innovative experiences across all of Schwab’s products, leveraging your passion for brand, craft, and design quality. 　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gain support for design strategies.

　　Lead a cross-functional team to develop innovative design solutions to solve client problems and deliver business outcomes.

　　Elevate and contribute to a holistic design process, design system and design language across teams or products.

　　Own improvements in design based on digital analytics, user research testing and stakeholder input and provide guidance and expertise to effectively engage stakeholders on product design to achieve product goals.

　　Own project priorities, including finding and aligning resources effectively to help with the XD project work.

　　What you have

　　REQUIRE QUALIFICATIONS

　　12+ years of experience creating digital products and solutions across web and mobile channels.

　　10+ years of experience leading multi-disciplinary experience professionals.

　　3+ years of work experience working with executive leaders.

　　Proven experience as a People Leader.

　　Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

　　Strong ability to balance innovative design-thinking and discovery practices with pragmatic, rapid and iterative delivery.

　　Expert communicator, both written and orally, throughout all levels the organization.

　　Ability to create a safe and engaging environment to get the most out of the team and have fun along the way.

　　PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

　　Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industry experience.

　　Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

　　10+ years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
