About Business Development in UI...We build market positions in white spaces by identify new opportunities, developing, defining, negotiating and nurturing strong business relationships. We own the business' P&L end-to-end, partner with customers, distributors and internal cross-functional teams to manage and grow existing businesses, to deliver growth through flawless execution of projects.As Business Development Manager you have the chance to grow the fastest growing global department across the region and make a difference to the business and the consumers we serve.IMPORTANCE OF THE ROLEYou'll work with strategic partners in markets to drive the Unilever Professional business and guide growth strategies in IT and other European Markets.You'll oversee distributors from aligning targets, key brand initiative and following through to ensure OTIF successful execution.The role is important because you will become a critical member of the team leading sales in UL's new business unit, you will be empowered to be involved in the strategy and own the delivery of key strategic goals, you will get to work with some of UL most iconic brands and have a chance to return them to former glory and the commercial impacts and performance of these brands to the business are sizeable.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
New Business Development Leading, screening, and mapping business opportunities and deals throughout IT in line with overall business strategy.Conducting joint business planning with key customersIdentifying and driving innovations for launch in selected channelsManaging potential businesses through market analysis, deal requirements, potential and financial analysisOverseeing end-to-end process from idea to launch with customers and internal teamsSeeding and exports will be part of your scope to map business opportunities Customer Selection, Appointment and Relationship Management Identifying suitable business partners through required researchManaging pricing and oversee supplies and new initiative landingOverseeing business plan processes for logistics and planning, in close cooperation with internal business partnersOverseeing speed-to-market for new product developments (NPD) Stakeholder Management Overseeing timely and appropriate management of customer complaints and relevant claimsLeading and aligning cross functional teams to effectively manage projects in coordination meetingsCollaborating with local OpCo for synergiesWorking closely with different stakeholders to align on critical projects, decision, to ensure there is synergy across different functions Establishing and Executing Business Plans Supervising strategic business plan processes and speed-to-market for new product distribution across locationsOverseeing networks for new product launches with supply chain team and alignment with Category team on launchesStrong execution mindset, to own and execute key projects flawlessly.
