STANDARD DUTIES:As an Unemployment Insurance Accounts Examiner, under the supervision of a Senior Unemployment Insurance Accounts Examiner, you would engage in a variety of accounting activities, adjust employers’ tax accounts and answer employers’ inquiries regarding overpayment, underpayment, and tax rates assigned. You would determine the status of employers’ tax accounts based on provisions of the Unemployment Insurance Law, Department of Labor policy and procedures, and the various aspects of the tax accounts and experience rating system.Fingerprinting/Background Check: This position requires a fingerprint/background check. There is no cost to candidates, fingerprinting fees are paid for by the Department of Labor.
