　　This is a face-to-face part time opportunity. MUST be available to come to the main campus.

　　Shape the bright futures of Grand Canyon University students as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the Tr aditional and/or Online campus in the College of Natural Sciences. Through hands-on, inquiry-based learning, the college provides an outlet for innovation and cross-disciplinary exposure. It also features pre-professional degrees in biology, alongside our degrees in information systems, and a forensic science and exercise science program.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:

　　Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession.

　　Assists instruction with in-class activities, including proctoring examinations.

　　Observes students’ performance, and records relevant data to aid instructor in assessing progress

　　Coordinates study groups outside of class to tutor students on class material

　　May facilitate additional ad hoc lectures as a refresher to classroom formal lecture

　　Assists with grading assignments

　　Proctors occasional make up examinations/assignments

　　Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

　　Requirements:

　　You are required to be a current GCU student. No completed degree is required.

　　Must have sufficient courses in related field as well as having received a grade of B or higher in these courses.
