JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties ***A recruitment or relocation incentive maybe paid to a Highly Qualified candidate.*** Performs a full range ofpsychological services as a member of the Behavioral HealthInterdisciplinary Team (BHIP), including psychological assessment,psychotherapeutic interventions, and interdisciplinary staffconsultation. Provides a full range of psycho-diagnostic servicesincluding assessment and uses the most appropriate psychotherapeutictechniques in providing quality care. Performs evaluations for the fullrange of mental health clients. Provides a full range of therapeuticinterventions for Veterans with psychological disorders, includingindividual and group psychotherapy, use of evidence-based interventions,psychoeducation, case/care management, and referrals as appropriate.Serves as member of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) treatmentteam, providing DBT interventions for Veterans and consultation tomedical center staff as appropriate. Involved in the Psychology TrainingProgram and Training Committee. Provides clinical supervision topsychology trainees, including practicum students, predoctoral interns,and postdoctoral fellows. May be involved in the training of medicalstudents, medical and psychiatric residents, nursing students, fellowsand other graduate or post-graduate trainees, as appropriate. Serves asa consultant to other medical center staff and trainees and assists intheir formulation of the psychological characteristics and appropriatetreatment expectations regarding their patients, as appropriate.
