Description Position Summary: The Trust Administrator will maintain a book of business, in addition to providing a high level of support to the team of Senior Trust Officers. Essential Responsibilities: Job Function 1: Trust Administration - 100% Administration of fiduciary accounts. Provide support to Trust Officers to assist with matters serving individuals, trusts, and estates. Assist with maintaining and retaining existing client relationships by providing exceptional customer service. Review and interpret trusts & wills to implement required processes. Perform all tasks necessary to facilitate daily operation of trust accounts to include; monitoring daily cash balances, monitor and address daily ticklers, process distributions, process new and closed accounts, coordinate and track fiduciary income tax returns, account reviews, & other duties as necessary. Position Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience required. 2-5 years of prior trust administration experience. General understanding of tax flow and accounting income of Trust and Estates. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated individual who works well independently and in a team environment. Individual must be well-organized, detail-oriented and possess excellent follow-up skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel. Personal Characteristics: Self-motivated with demonstrated initiative Effective communication skills and willingness to work with a team. Strong organizational skills and time management skills Passionate about serving clients Proven problem-solver Physical Demands - Must be met with or without a reasonable accommodation: Extended periods of time at a desk and using office equipment. Ability to operate a personal computer/laptop for approximately 8 hours per day. Extended time is spent reviewing physical and electronic documents. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Periodically, may also do light lifting of supplies and materials which weighs in at approximately 20 lbs. Will spend most of time in an indoor environment. Ability to travel as needed to other markets and locations.
