Thisindividual will provide leadership in the development and implementationof management systems necessary to ensure compliance with environmental,health and safety requirements affecting the assigned facility/facilities and to evaluate and ensure their effectiveness over time.Additionally, this individual will provide leadership of corporate-wideprojects and initiatives intended to advance and support theenvironmental, health and safety policy and priorities. A Day in theLife...* Lead EHS at the facility, including goal setting,prioritizing facility safety and compliance needs, capital and operatingexpenses related to EHS, and establishing adequate systems for trackingresults and continuous improvement. * Influences all staff to reportsafety issues to personnel with authority to initiate immediatecorrective actions. * Engage with employees to have them participate ata high level and be active participants in our safety culture. *Identify and leverage best practices by collaborating across the EHSnetwork. * Be an active, supportive, inclusive member of the plantleadership team. * Lead the development, implementation, and continuousimprovement of EHS programs, aligned with Ocean Spray EHS standards. *Coordinate and support environmental compliance activities, such asemissions control, waste disposal, wastewater treatment, etc. * Overseethe facility incident investigation process to ensure incidents arereported in a timely manner, investigations are conducted properly, rootcauses are identified, and corrective actions re-tracked to closure. *Maintain records, data, and other EHS related information necessary tosatisfy legislative and company requirements. * Assumesresponsibilities as designated to provide coverage in the absence of keypersonnel. What We Are Looking For:* Bachelor\'s degree preferred or anequivalent of 5+ years working in the safety field with the managementof people * Experience working with VPP or SHARP Site is preferred *Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred *Applicability of EHS laws and regulations * Knowledge and experiencewith wastewater management * Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills * Good computer skills * Excellent understanding ofmanufacturing...
