　　Truck Driver and Donations Ambassador is responsible for safely and efficiently operating the ReStore truck(s). They serve as a representative of ReStore while picking up donations and is courteous to all donors and customers.

　　Responsibilities Include:

　　Drive and maneuver a minimum of a 16-foot box truck.Be able to complete 10-12 pickups per day by organizing and maintaining a steady work pace.Determining when we decline merchandise that is not acceptable for donation.Managing gasoline receipts and truck mileage log.Properly loading and securing items on truck.Properly filling out donation paperwork.Unloading truck upon return to the ReStore.Prepare and place items in ReStore for sale.Dispose of items not for sale as directed.Keeping staging area and dock organized and clean.Keep the truck cab clean and swept out, properly store all hand trucks, carts, straps and moving supplies.Working with and guiding volunteers in their rolesOther projects as assigned.

　　This full time, hourly, non-exempt position is a member of the ReStore Team and reports to the Donations Manager The starting hourly rate is $16.00- $17.00/hour depending on experience.

　　Position Requires:

　　Must be self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic.Must enjoy working with people of diverse backgrounds.Must be able to lift and move up to 501bs. daily, as well as team lift appropriately.Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.Experience driving a box truck a plus.Must be able to stand for 4 hours.Superior customer service skills.Ability to always work with the public in a professional manner.Commitment to a cooperative work ethic.Good communication skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Capacity to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.Commitment to GCHFH Mission and the principles of HFH.
