Temporary Full time from 4/11/2024 to 12/1/2024Load or unload trucks or help others with loading or unloading, using special loading-related equipment or other equipment as necessary.. Drive trucks with capacities greater than 3 tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver products, or other materials.. Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store crops. Swath, bale, and haul hay from field to storage area. Attach farm implements, such as disk ripper, disc, and air drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate crop. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluid), and mechanical repair farm machinery. Drive grain, chickpea, pea, sugar beet and potato trucks to transport produce to grain elevator, pile grounds or storage area. Drive truck to bring seed potatoes to farm. Monitor and set irrigation for several crops. This include pulling ditches, handling gated pipe, and controlling center pivot sprinklers. General daily seasonal farm duties.Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
