Job Summary
Actively participate in corporate and subsidiary related treasury/cash management initiatives that may include forecasting, bank account management, banking services, reconciliations, system implementations, workflow impacts and the use of money market funds. Ensure that all corporate and subsidiary bank accounts have sufficient balances to cover daily requirements. Assist with developing and maintaining cash flow forecasting reports used to accurately project cash requirements to assist Executive Management with investment decisions. Review, produce and maintain monthly and quarterly cash reports. Prepare and/or review monthly journal entries. Perform account analysis, research and evaluation of banking related services and relationships. Develop appropriate management reports as needed. Assist in training and providing daily direction, as appropriate, to other members of the department.
Salary range commensurate with experience $60,000 - $80,000 / yearly
Schedule
Monday thru Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET / Hybrid
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience required.
Experience: Four to six years of recent related experience in cash/treasury functions and processes are also required.
Knowledge: Cash Management experience preferred. Treasury, Analyst and Journal Entry experience helpful. General knowledge of industry practices, standards, and concepts within field of work. Applies them to perform work requiring analytical business skills.
Decision Making: Makes decisions related to a wide variety of situations within management limits. Interprets guidelines and procedures, applying judgment and discretion. Decisions influence portions of a project, client relationships and/or expenditures.
Supervision Received: Works independently under general supervision. Work is reviewed for overall adequacy in meeting objectives.
Leadership: Provides guidance and training to less experienced staff as needed. Takes a lead role in group, team or project.
Problem Solving /Operations/Direct Work Involvement: Develops solutions to a variety of problems, typically of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to and interprets policies and practices for guidance.
Client Contacts: Contacts other departments and or external organizations or parties frequently. Contacts are primarily at or below middle management levels. Communication is primarily task-related and involves creating and delivering varied types of messages and information.
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience working in a team setting and having strong leadership qualities required. A high level of accuracy and dependability is required. Advanced experience working with Microsoft Office is required. Demonstrated work experience in time management and project coordination along with a proven ability to organize and facilitate meeting discussion is required. The ability to work independently is also required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Experience in report development and cash forecasting is required. Candidate must have or be willing to pursue CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation.
