You will also assist in coordinating and controlling the district's field construction project records and documentation by utilizing ECMS, PennDOT Project Collaboration Center (PPCC), and mobile construction applications on PennDOT issued iPad devices. Additionally, you will be involved in conducting technical reviews of material costs for highway and bridge construction projects. This will involve verifying the completeness and accuracy of documentation and work orders submitted by Project Management staff to support payments. Furthermore, you will participate in inspecting construction operations on roads and bridges to ensure that the work aligns with the plans, specifications, and contract provisions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employmentWork hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.Vendor-controlled flex schedule.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time on an Ad-hoc basis after successful completion of training program. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. One year of experience in highway or bridge surveying, design, construction, or inspection work; orOne year of experience in quality control of materials or building or construction industry experience, which includes reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, or schematics; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.
