　　Verdantas is a national consulting group seeking a talented Transportation Staff Engineer II to join our team in the Newark office .

　　We are an award-winning team providing technical and design support to a variety of high-profile projects under the direction of talented project managers within multi-disciplinary teams. Partner with our Project Engineers and Project Managers to execute diverse roadway and municipal improvement projects across Ohio. Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Assist Project Managers with technical, and civil engineering design

　　Perform technical engineering work associated with Municipal and Transportation Clients:

　　Roadway Design

　　Multimodal Design

　　Stormwater management design

　　Utility design

　　Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors

　　Support technical report writing and communicate outcomes effectively to team members and clients

　　Collaborate with and observe contractors during construction

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution

　　2-4 years of experience in civil engineering consulting

　　Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley Geopak/Openroads required

　　Familiarity with stormwater modeling software is a plus

　　Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug test
