　　Job DescriptionAs part of this role, the successful candidate will be:Designing overhead and underground lines by creating the technicalspecifications, calculations, and drawings (60% of time)Applicable federal, state, regional, and local laws and requirements,specifically state administrative codes, NESC, NES, and RUSClient Standards and specificationsMott MacDonald's Project Procedures.Working with Engineering Project Engineers, Project Managers, andSupervisor to design the specific project products, calculations,specifications, drawings, and reports.Leading a discipline specific team of junior engineers and designers to ensuretasks are completed on schedule and within budget in accordance with thefollowing (20% of time):Ensuring that the Engineering work and Engineering support of Mott MacDonaldis performed in a technically sound manner and completed in accordance withthe Engineering Project Procedures and specific Contract requirements.Mott MacDonald Quality and Compliance of deliverables standardsEffective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoringof personal work activitiesThorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation,calculations, and sketchesManaging project correspondence and data by (20% of time):Continuous improvement of job-related, engineering, technical andprofessional knowledge, skills, and performance.Accurate records and files.Determining the scope of and level of effort required for the Project Design.Verifying that the Design Reviews have been performed and that Reviewercomments or issues raised are closed.
