This position can be based in any of our STV offices across the country.Qualified candidates will have a broad range of engineering and construction expertise in industrial buildings, rail and bus transit and other transportation projects. Knowledge of transit operations, industrial engineering principles and vehicle maintenance practices is a plus. Mustbe hands-on and able to develop program requirements and design basic facility layouts. Must understand the inter-relationships between the design disciplines, and the ability to review and coordinate the discipline designs to ensure that program requirements are satisfied, and appropriate space, utilities, foundations, and safety features are provided.This role will have leadership responsibilities along with profit and loss accountability. The candidate should have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to lead with strong team building and staff development skills. This individual will work with local office resources and have frequent interface with peer professionals in other offices. Responsible to ensure a seamless delivery of services to our clients. Eventually, some travel and short-term assignments away from home base will be required.
