This position can be based in any of our STV offices across the country.Qualified candidates will have a broad range of engineering and construction expertise in industrial buildings, rail and bus transit and other transportation projects. Knowledge of transit operations, industrial engineering principles and vehicle maintenance practices is a plus. Mustbe hands-on and will be responsible for developing program requirements, designing basic facility layouts understanding the inter-relationships between the design disciplines, and will review and coordinate the discipline designs to ensure that program requirements are satisfied, and appropriate space, utilities, foundations, and safety features are provided.The candidate should have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. This individual will work with local office resources and have frequent interface with peer professionals in other offices. Responsible to ensure a seamless delivery of services to our clients. Eventually, some travel and short-term assignments away from home base will be required.
