Position Summary:
In this role, the Associate Digital Marketing Manager will help shape innovative digital media strategies, execute media plans, and optimize marketing campaign performance against key KPIs, as an essential member of the Marketing Activation team.
Our team vision is to leverage digital expertise to connect with our consumers and drive sustainable growth across our portfolio of category leading brands (Banana Boat®, Hawaiian Tropic®, and Wet Ones®). You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of marketing campaigns, including new product launches.
This role is designed for the strategic thinker who embraces change—whether you’re leveraging data and analytics to improve the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns or testing new ideas to transform how consumers experience our brands online.
The ideal candidate will not only bring hands-on media experience, but also a deep curiosity about our consumers. In a dynamic digital media environment, your understanding of our ever-changing consumers, as well as current products and trends, will be critical to bringing our brand stories to life in relevant and engaging ways.
This position will need to have the ability to be on-site at our Shelton, CT office as needed
Accountabilities
Working alongside the (Sr) Digital Marketing Manager, help develop the digital marketing strategy to achieve the job to be done—from driving brand awareness and relevance to consideration and conversion
Collaborate with the Brand team on media briefs, setting objectives and KPIs
Partner with internal and external media teams (agency, platforms, publishers) to manage planning and execution across digital marketing channels (Social, Display, Video, Search, Branded Content, Audio, OTT/CTV)
Ensure appropriate funnel/channel mix and audience targeting, with tailored creative
Manage weekly performance against KPIs and align on actions for optimization
Analyze performance data, extract insights, and apply learnings across ongoing and future campaigns
Work closely with Finance and Media teams to ensure campaigns are pacing as planned, within budget
Shape campaign creative development to ensure assets are aligned with the digital media strategy
Develop and execute the digital shopper marketing programs, partnering with Brand and Customer teams
Provide guidance to Brand and Consumer experience teams on content for brand.com/DTC and eRetailer sites
Stay current on digital marketing best practices and industry standards, seeking out innovative approaches

Required Education, Skills and Experience
BA/BS in Business, Communications, or related field
3+ years of digital marketing experience (i.e. DTC, ecommerce, or media agency), leveraging digital advertising platforms, including Meta, AMZ, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and Criteo
Strategic thinker with a growth mindset and bias for action
Strong ability to analyze performance to optimize plans, drive decisions, and measure impact to the business
Strong communication skills, clearly and concisely conveying information across stakeholders
Self-starter with a willingness for hands-on program management
Creative and collaborative team player who can effectively work across teams to shape decisions
Desirable Education, Skills and Experience
Knowledge and interest in consumer behavior and brand strategy
Understanding of evolving media landscape (best practices as well as new products and trends)

The salary range for this position is $96,000 - $144,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
