  Location/Division Specific Information:

  Middletown VA/Clinical Diagnostics Division

  The Training and Development Specialist performs training and development activities, as well as supports training compliance within the Clinical Diagnostics Reagents site training team. This role supports the site training program to deliver meaningful and impactful learning experiences for operations, environment health and safety, quality, and manufacturing partners.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  Design, develop, and implement training for manufacturing, environment, health and safety, quality partners, and site employees

  Support the coordination, evaluation, and monitoring of internal training programs

  Work closely with quality and operations departments to improve quality management system activities for new and existing learners

  Deliver design standard for training assets: Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other tools that support operational processes

  Support Quality Management System (QMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to ensure training compliance

  Support training verification activities

  Capabilities:

  Knowledge of learning technologies and modalities

  Willingness to learn, research innovative learning solutions, and quickly adopt new tools

  Ability to network and collaborate cross-functionally in a global setting

  Ability to handle changing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously

  Close attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills

  Consistent development and delivery of learning solutions in matrixed environment

  Effective in oral and written English

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree preferred and 2 years of Training & Development/Learning Experience Design; OR

  Associate Degree and 4 years of T&D/LXD; OR

  5 years of experience with T&D/LXD
