About Senior Technical Accountant

  Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a Senior Technical Accountant in Boston, Massachusetts (MA). Summary: This client is a fast-track Technology/SaaS company with a strong online retail presence and have been continuously growing year over year. They have a great office culture that includes catered lunches and company outings. The client offers great benefits, free gym membership, and commuter expense to their employees. They also offer a 401k with matching, annual bonus, and equity. This role will work in a hybrid schedule, 2 days a week in the office and 3 days remote. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years public accounting experience with a national CPA firm (open to offering an extended start date, post busy season). Responsibilities:

  Involved with technical accounting research and updating technical accounting memo's

  Process monthly journal entries and reconciliations

  Ensure GAAP compliance on various complex transactions and technical matters, including revenue recognition, business combinations and leases

  Assist with SEC reporting process and drafting sections of 10K and 10Q

  Assist with year-end audit and quarterly review

  Business partner across FP&A teams

  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required

  CPA or CPA track (preferred)

  2-3 years of Big 4 public accounting experience is required (or CPA with solid Technical GAAP experience)

  Public company/client GAAP accounting equired

  Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP's is preferred

  Technology/SAAS/Retail Services experience is preferred

  The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

  We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

  Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

  This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
