Trailer Technician ($25-$30/hr.)

　　Description:

　　• Use hand and air power tools to repair truck and trailer bodies

　　• Perform welds on various materials such as steel, stainless, and aluminum using welding equipment. Weld positions include flat, horizontal, and overhead

　　• Cut metal using shears, saw, plasma cutter and or other equipment

　　• Diagnose and repair minor electrical issues, hydraulic issues, and repair structural damage to trailers

　　• Operate air power and hand tools including grinders, floor jacks, impact gun, rivet gun, and Sawzall

　　• Must be able to work independently and part of a team

　　• Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to carry out assigned work

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　• Minimum of 2 years of Trailer Repair experience with your own basic tools

　　• Strong Mechanically inclined way of thinking

　　• Welding experience, ability to pass on site welding test

　　• Ability to read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16th is required

　　• Must be reliable with a strong work ethic

　　• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

　　• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, written direction, and work orders.

　　• High school diploma or equivalent.
