　　As a Software Engineer, You would be joining an Agile team, consisting of Software & QA Engineers based in The Netherlands, Lithuania, and other countries. This team in The Netherlands will be working on Uniface version Ten.

　　Why are we looking?

　　The Uniface lab is currently working on Uniface version Ten, our latest version. This includes projects to enhance the development environment, create the next generation of Uniface (mobile) development capabilities, and build a scalable system for deploying to the cloud. So you see Uniface Ten is much more than just an Integrated Development Environment (IDE). With Uniface you are able to deploy applications from client server, through web and mobile apps for Android and iOS of course those can be in the cloud too. To make all of the above possible, some of the projects range from maintenance, security updates (standing requirement), supporting new platforms from new databases, OS, technologies, in different languages from C, C++, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, Cordova, Jenkins, Angular, etc.

　　What are you going to do?

　　As a Scrum team member, you will participate in design, implementation, and testing of product enhancements that form key parts of the next generation of the Uniface development and deployment platform, as well as maintenance of our existing product features.

　　You work with our GIT-based code repository on platforms like UNIX, Linux, and Windows, using tools like Visual Studio and Make. Most of our back-end code is written in C and C++ . JavaScript is also used for parts of our web and mobile offering.

　　You will also contribute to maintain and create samples for our web framework which showcases our strengths on low code for developing amazing Web & Mobile business applications.

　　What are we looking for?

　　Good knowledge of C/C++ and JavaScript

　　Bachelor or higher degree in computer science

　　Experience in an agile environment is preferred

　　Willing to contribute in a CI / CD paced organization

　　Enthusiast in application development

　　Technology-minded and willing to learn about new tools and technologies

　　Affinity to software-defined infrastructure, continuous integration, and related languages and tools
