Position Summary:
Getac is seeking an experienced and dynamic Tradeshow Manager to lead our tradeshow and events strategy. The Tradeshow Manager will be responsible for the development, planning, and execution of all tradeshow and event related activities, ensuring they align with our corporate branding and marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful tradeshow management, from conceptualization to execution, with strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
This role is a hybrid role and the candidate will be expected to come into the Irvine office 2-3x a week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive tradeshow strategy that promotes Getac's products and services and aligns with the company's sales and vertical marketing objectives.
• Manage all aspects of tradeshow operations, including budgeting, scheduling, vendor negotiations, logistics, and booth design.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, product teams, and senior management to create compelling and cohesive presentations and demonstrations for each show.
• Oversee the production and sourcing of all tradeshow materials, including banners, collateral, and promotional items.
• Manage the installation, dismantling, and management of tradeshow exhibits, ensuring all materials are handled efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Train and manage booth staff, ensuring they are fully briefed on their duties and the company's objectives for each event.
• Track, analyze, and report on tradeshow ROI, using insights to drive improvements for future events.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with event organizers, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations at tradeshows and events.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tradeshow/event planning and management, preferably in the technology sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale tradeshows and events with a track record of successful outcomes.
• Exceptional project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing budgets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Willingness to travel extensively to attend events, conferences, and tradeshows.
• Proficiency in tradeshow management software and CRM tools.

Travel
Expected travel for this job position should be a minimum of 30% and could exceed 30% for corporate business meetings, trade show events and meetings.
Must have a valid Driver's License, proof of current vehicle insurance and a driving record that meets the companies insurer's criteria; must be able to use own vehicle in the course of work.

Pay Range:
$70,000 - $80,000 DOE
