Job Number: R0187508Tracker Modeling and Simulation Analyst, MidThe Opportunity:Our team is seeking an engineer to support multi-target multi-sensor tracking tasks on a variety of modeling and analysis projects impacting several Air Force programs.You should have strong math and programming skills with experience applying linear algebra, differential equations, probability, and statistics to analyze, develop and enhance multi-target multi-sensor trackers suitable for tracking dim and fleeting targets in clutter.You should understand multiple hypothesis tracker architectures utilizing multi-spectral sensors for tracking these types of targets whether in the air, or on the surface of the land or sea.To be successful you will need to develop a firm understanding of airborne target models suitable for characterizing a variety of kinematic target classes ranging from rotary winged to hyper-sonics.You'll use the fundamental principles of RF, EO, and IR sensors, measurements derived from these sensors, and associated sources of error. Work is performed within a dynamic team environment consisting of sensor and EW experts and experienced survivability analysts.Your primary responsibilities in this role are inclusive of the maintenance, development, test, and configuration control of tracking software used in Air Force modeling and analysis activities.The tracking software is capable of characterizing tracker, reference system, sensor, data link, platform kinematics, target observability, and performance behavior in multiple engagement and mission level models.We're looking for lifelong learners andmotivated, independent thinkers who can contribute to a fast-paced, team environment focused on client delivery.
