Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Toolmaker A.
The hours for this role are 10:30 pm - 7:00 am
The hourly rate for this position is $34.44 per hour.

What you’ll do:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Required to build or prepare fixtures and tooling as needed to perform tool room duties
• Usually works form blueprints, mechanical drawings, shop sketches and verbal
• instructions, which in some cases are difficult in nature, requiring analyses and
• interpretation
• Design and manufacture tooling and fixtures using CAD and/or CAM
• Produce drawings of tooling designed by the tool room, including VIN numbers for
• reference
• May be required to manufacture tooling for other Eaton facilities.
• Troubleshoot and/or assist in tooling and manufacturing problems as needed.
• Interacts directly with other departments, suppliers, and vendors as needed
• May be required to salvage production work
• Schedules, tracks, and reports incoming work
• Writes requisitions for supplies, material, perishable items and outside processes as
• Needed according to supply chain processes.
• Maintain inventory of tool room tooling
• Fill out all necessary documentation, i.e. Routers, Inspection Reports
• Assist in training of employees, new processes and equipment as needed
• Run short run, difficult production parts, and proto-type
• Responsible for own output
• Schedule, log and perform preventive maintenance as needed to maintain tool room
• equipment
• Set and maintain goals and measures, chart and submit reports to Manager as required
• Provide tool quotes
• Maintain Visual Factory Board
• Utilizes various means of data recording, i.e. paper, electronic database or other software.
• Perform all core duties and other tasks as assigned
PROCESSES AND EQUIPMENT

Qualifications:
• Must possess Tool & Die Maker Journeyman’s Card as recognized by the United States Department of Labor (O*NET code 51-4111.00)
• Completion of a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Jackson area (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

• Pay for this position is $28.96 plus a $.70 shift differential
