Description:
Welders will be working on customized projects for customers including NASA, Boeing and government funded work. They will be fabricating and welding industrial work platforms, mezzanines, ladder platforms.
Job responsibilities include:
*Will perform MIG and TIG aluminum, steel and stainless steel welding on customized platforms, mezzanines, ladders, stairs and steps
*Welding 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch
*Fabricates parts according to blue prints and drawings; all custom orders
*Fabricates parts by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting up and measuring assemblies
*Verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must have the following:
*Minimum of 3 years MIG/TIG welding experience
*Minimum of 2 years experience MIG/TIG welding on aluminum
*Must be able to perform vertical and horizontal welds
*Must have the ability to read blueprints and drawings; all customized products
*Must have experience examining weld for bead size and other specifications
Disqualifiers include candidates who have performed majority of work welding railcars, barges and/or heavy construction
