  A New Leafs Phoenix Day has offered quality early education in SouthPhoenix for more than 100 years, providing a solid educationalfoundation for children ages 0-5 from low-income households.

  The Early Childhood Education program focuses on each childs uniquecharacteristics, developmental needs, and interests to support theirgrowth and development. Our role is to facilitate, assess, support, andnurture each child in their personal growth and development by providingaccess to a child-centered, emergent curriculum, health care, nutritioneducation, and parenting support services.

  Additionally, all classrooms are immersion-based bilingual environments,exposing children to Spanish and English. This mix of students offers adiversity of language, culture, and backgrounds greatly enriching theeducational experience for all children. Through Phoenix Day, A New Leafis bringing affordable, quality early childhood education to householdsacross South Phoenix.

  Hourly Pay Rate: \$16

  Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9:30am - 6pm

  Location: Phoenix, AZ

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Education:

  High School or GED required.

  Bachelors in early education preferred

  Experience:

  Must have experience in early child daycare or school setting.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Educate, supervise and care of children.

  Assist in planning and preparing the environment and activities forchildren.

  Assist with classroom education, assessments, and lesson planning.

  Work directly with children in an instruction setting Prepare dailyreports, health checks and other documentation as required by thePhoenix Day program and other agencies CACFP, ADHS, etc.

  Establish and maintain a rapport with parents.

  Welcome and work with visitors and volunteers.

  Ensure the safety of children at all times.

  Clean up, diapering, potty-training of children if age appropriate

  Serve meals and drinks to children.

  Teach children healthy personal habits.

  Compliance:

  Must be able to pass various background checks.

  Must pass pre-employment drug test

  Valid Drivers License with reliable transportation

  Current Auto Liability Insurance and Clean 39-Month Driving Record

  Must Be At Least 21 Years of Age
