About Tier I Support Technician

  Job Description

  A mid-sized pharmaceutical company is looking for a Tier I Support Technician to join their growing team in San Diego. This person will work along side their other technician to provide support to their 300+ end users. Responsibilities will include imaging computers, helping end users get connected to printers, making sure all hardware and software is up to date/properly upgraded, and will resolve any other end user issues via Service Now tickets. This person will be resolving anywhere between 2-15 tickets daily and should be able to work independently without much oversight. It is crucial that this resource has strong communication skills, strong interpersonal skills as they will be supporting 300+ end users.

  Skills and Requirements

  3-5 years of experience working in an IT Support role

   - 2+ years of experience resolving tickets using Service Now

   - Experience with imaging computers, getting connected to printers, helping with software/hardware updates, etc.

   - 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft 365 and working in a Windows environment

   - Ability to work independently

   - Strong work ethic and communication skills (both oral and written)

  Must be local to San Diego and able to go on-site 5 days/week null
