Overview

　　Element has an opportunity for an Electrical Lab Technician at our Kokomo, IN lab. Element Kokomo is an industry-leading provider of testing and inspection services for the automotive, industrial, and aerospace industries.

　　Responsibilities

　　Setup and conduct product electrical tests per technical specifications

　　Operate laboratory equipment and instruments

　　Monitor test progress to meet scheduled milestones

　　Accurately record test results/documentation and write final reports

　　Acquire knowledge and proficiency in the use of general and specialized laboratory techniques, equipment, and instrumentation

　　Prepare test samples

　　Perform tests using OEM and International Specifications

　　Perform standard engineering test measurements

　　Record test data and product performance

　　Prepare test reports

　　Skills / Qualifications

　　Minimum of a two-year associate degree in electrical/electronic discipline and/or equivalent experience

　　Must have an aptitude for electrical or electronic technology

　　Basic understanding and ability to read technical specifications

　　Effectively works with others

　　Use of Microsoft Office

　　Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word

　　Good oral and written communication skills

　　Analytical ability to aid in problem resolution and troubleshooting

　　Understands the capabilities and application of basic laboratory instrumentation

　　Must be able to work 1st shift 7am-3:30pm-Monday-Friday
