The ICP is responsible for planning, directing,and implementing the infection prevention program within the hospital.The ICP is responsible for investigating infection problems andreporting these to the director of quality. The ICP is responsible forconducting IP rounds, data collection, and regulatory reporting. The ICPis responsible to facilitate the conduction of bimonthly InfectionControl Committee Meetings. The IPC Coordinator shall be accountable forand contribute to program development, problem solving and productivityenhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion. Routinely assignsand responsibly directs staff. This position is required to utilizeindependent judgment. Agrees with culture and models appropriatebehavior as exemplified in AMMCs Mission/Vision Statement and Standardsof Performance
