Description:

　　Electrical Engineer/Product Engineer

　　Work with internal engine product development teams to identify the electronic components and systems needed for their engine products

　　Working with suppliers to find those parts – either with something that’s in production OR work with the supplier to develop a new component to meet the needs of CAT Product groups

　　Planning tests to validate those parts, looking at spec sheets, developing tests to ensure specs are met

　　They work with a lab that does that testing – interfacing with technicians and Test engineers

　　o This role is not responsible for the execution of the test

　　Will review engineering models to understand what parts are best or what changes need to be made

　　Responsible for managing production of those parts and that there is enough inventory to meet Product teams needs

　　Heavy communication with Product Teams and Suppliers
