Summary

This role will ensure the proper receiving, stocking and inventory of parts and materials. This job also assists with the issuing and completing of purchase orders.

Other Information

Able to read and comprehend Bill of Ladings, Manifests, Receiving Records and inventory records.

Able to write required information on Purchase Order Requests, Receiving Records and Bill of Ladings.

Able to apply basic math skills when writing and editing purchase order requests and receiving records, checking shipments against Manifests, performing inventory counts and calculating weights for materials.

Able to use computers for data entry.

Able to effectively communicate on the phone with and in person with customers, vendors, supervisors, employees and maintenance personnel.

Able to lift 50 pounds.

Ability to work with detailed information.

Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Able to learn to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.

Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and support groups.
