Shift: Monday - Thursday 1:30pm - 12:00am
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Use computers and a variety of custom software in a windows-based environment.
Adhere to all departmental protocols, rules, contamination controls, and safety procedures and complies with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
Quantify and sample products for quality control tests.
Recognize process or equipment problems and seeks appropriate assistance.
Assess QC data to appropriately route and process products to meet outlined specifications.
Perform some PCR protocols and subsequent post PCR cleanup steps.
Use aseptic techniques to minimize the risks of contamination to products.
The essential requirements of the job include:
An associate degree in a science related field and 2 years of applicable lab experience is required, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and expertise. Bachelor’s degree in a science related field preferred.
A working proficiency with Microsoft Office (with an emphasis on Excel) required.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience with sterile techniques and PCR experience required (experience from undergraduate classes is acceptable).
