　　Technical Specialist – Generation Fleet Support

　　Job Description

　　We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to assist our Experienced Physical Real Time Desk trader/operators in managing generation fleets in real-time markets. The successful candidate will help in overseeing both our assets and those of Third Party customers, ensuring efficient operation and responding to equipment issues swiftly. The role requires a foundational understanding of power generation economics, dispatch characteristics, and the ability to navigate ISO/RTO protocol and market portals across various regions.

　　The Technical Specialist will be the first point of contact for calls from owners and other utilities regarding our generation equipment operating in North America. Responsibilities include documenting issues and communicating them effectively to the dispatch team for resolution or repair coordination. This position is vital in maintaining the reliability and performance of our generation assets.

　　Hard Skills

　　Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration (completed or substantially completed) or equivalent experience

　　Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with an intermediate level or higher in Excel

　　High School Grad/GED

　　Soft Skills

　　Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

　　Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures in a fast-paced environment

　　Capability to effectively manage high call volumes and document issues accurately

　　Work Environment

　　Join our team of 12 professionals supporting the remote monitoring center and dispatch operations. We work a Dupont schedule, fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment.

　　Schedule

　　Thursday to Friday – 6am to 2pm

　　Saturday to Sunday – 6am to 6pm

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications

　　Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (Dupont Schedule)

　　Experience in generator operation or control center is an advantage

　　1+ years of relevant experience preferred
