As a Technical Solution Specialist, you will be working closely with Breast and Skeletal Health sales organization to create new revenue for our company by become a participate and partner throughout the sales process with the greater BSH Sales Team of assigned region in the selling of Hologic systems, software, and technology.
What to Expect:
Partner with greater BSH Sales Team to discover new products and upgrade opportunities at customer sites for Hologic systems, software, or technologies.
Partner with greater BSH Sales Team in the build out and quoting of potential solution offerings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and optimal workflow for our customers.
Gather or produce any necessary tools or presentations used in the sales process for presenting and educating both the Hologic Sales Team and our customers on the technical concepts of Hologic systems, software, or technology. This may include materials provided by Hologic BSH Marketing and/or customized tools such as tailored workflow design drawings or slides.
Deliver customer presentations (onsite and/or virtual) to highlight Hologic connected systems, software, or technology, geared towards education on workflow efficiency, integration simplification within the customer environment and consensus building towards the solution purchase. This includes objection handling and being prepared to respond to technical questions and concerns.
Assist National Accounts team with RFI/RFP responses and potential customer presentations.
Assist with the education and product knowledge training of the greater BSH Sales Team on technical topics and solution building as it relates to Hologic systems, software, or technologies. This may include onsite new hire training, group training opportunities and one on one education.
Lead Cyber-Security conversations with customer and assist in any customer product security review processes required prior to purchase or system network onboarding.
Set proper expectations for customers to ensure that design, implementation, and future state workflow matches based on pre-sale conversations and communications.
Gather pre-sale technical notes based on conversations/correspondence with customer throughout the sales process and make them available for Hologic Field Service prior to installation and/or implementation.
Work closely with your regional post-sales connectivity specialists to ensure purchased solutions are implemented based on agreed upon standards.
-Partner with Upstream Marketing teammates by providing real world insights and field feedback towards the development of new solution enhancements and/or new technologies.
Partner with Downstream Marketing teammates by providing real world insights and field feedback towards the development of new sales strategies and sales tools.
Keep current with industry technologies, trends, and new products in the medical device world to better understand competitive threats and take action to minimize their impact through all means possible. Understand imaging informatics (PACS, RIS, Reporting) vendor capabilities and compatibility with Hologic. This is accomplished via continuous self-education, tradeshow and conference attendance and constant communication with Hologic’s engineering, service, and marketing teams.
Manage and complete special projects related to Hologic's continuous improvement in serving internal and external needs related to Connectivity and Sales. Connectivity in this context refers to the interoperation of Hologic products with other medical devices and information systems in integrated healthcare environments.
This position may require heavy travel at times and could travel up to 60% of time.
Must be able to repetitively lift and carry products weighing approximately 30 lbs.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $190,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs, and market demand.
