Lenses are immersive (and fun!) augmented reality (AR) and generative AI experiences which are core for Snapchat. Every day more than 250 mln users engage with Lenses in the Snapchat app. Lens Experience team mission is to bring AR to more people, places, and moments, every day. Team is working hard from developing new product features, supporting the continuous growth and evolution of our product and AR developers community, to helping our users discover, explore and use Lenses. This work requires deep cross functional collaboration between Product Managers, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data Science and other key cross functional stakeholders like the Developer Experience, Ecosystem, Lens Studio and Partnerships teams.
The Lens Experience team is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join the team!
What you’ll do:
Lead, implement, define and maintain organizational processes that accelerate and make more efficient key program initiatives, manage and deliver on complex technical projects that require coordinated effort from multiple functional areas to be successful
Drive and define operational programs for key Lens Experience initiatives focusing primarily on Lens Distribution, Delivery, Ranking, Creator Success and Partnership and working as necessary on new programs as they arise.
Representing the voice of the team in key decisions and in structural program processes i.e., organize executives business reviews, planning sessions, product roadmap tracking and launches
Identify decisions required to move key projects forward, determine the decision makers, and ensure decisions are made in order to accelerate project efficacy and impact
Perform risk management and scope management on projects, identifying blockers and areas for improvement
Ensure that teams are aligned and that project impact is operationalized and evaluated properly
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, tackling blockers as they arise.
Coordinate with Product & Engineering stakeholders to build program strategy and playbooks
Plan and execute high value cross-team meetings socializing information across the organization
Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, release, and post release phases
Build and maintain systems for tracking key program health
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Having a track record of providing program management and operational excellence during all phases of software development from kick-off to ship—demonstrating critical thinking and thought leadership
Strong written and verbal communication skills, building relationships with stakeholders and teams
Experience to drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions
Experience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones
Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale platforms, infrastructure and organizations
Experience leading initiatives with a global footprint having worked on software products, and complex systems/infrastructure at scale
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of operations or technical product/program management experience in software development large organizations 500+ people
Working as a TPM on large scale projects with large XFNs includes Product Management, Design, Engineering, Data Science, Content Production
Fluency with common operational tools: JIRA, Confluence, Google Suite, Excel, Slack, Quip etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
TPM experience in Social Media, AR, Game Development, Media Content Distribution

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

The base salary range for this position is $145,000-$210,000 annually.
Zone B (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :
The base salary range for this position is $138,000-$200,000 annually.
Zone C (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :
The base salary range for this position is $123,000-$179,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
