Description: The candidate will perform the role of technical program manager/capture manager and is expected to be a motivated self-starter who takes full ownership of tasks, exhibits business acumen, is effective at working well with others, multi-tasking, leading by example and operating with minimal supervision. The candidate will manage the overall programmatic execution of two critical IRAD activities (Large Format IRAD and AGM-158 IRAD) in support of Technical Lead/SME. Responsibilities include: Ensuring program meets cost, schedule and technical performance goals while meeting customer expectations and contractual requirements. Leading/supporting capture activities, including proposal development, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Maintaining effective communication with customers, management, subcontractors, and the LM Team. Managing the program staff by providing clear direction, effectively delegating, and maintaining accountability for team’s performance. Developing content of briefing material on programmatic and technical topics presented at program reviews, working groups, and other reviews. This position requires 10% travel commitment to CA.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　• Engineering background with experience in sensors, electronics, optics, physics, etc.

　　• Experience leading project/program with cost/schedule/technical responsibilities

　　• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include aptitude for formal presentations

　　• Ability to take complex issues and effectively communicate them appropriately to management and customers

　　• Proactive problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

　　• Strong organization and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to proactively manage multiple tasks and priorities

　　• Record of strong customer interactions with an ability to collaborate while working tough issues

　　• Ability to lead and manage a multi-disciplined technical development team.

　　• Ability to manage technical development by subcontractors and suppliers.

　　Desired Skills:

　　• Experience with DOD, Government Labs, DARPA, and Army in autonomy and Artificial Intelligence technologies and/or robotics.

　　• Proven track record in capture and execution of R&D programs

　　• Track record of transitioning technology into programs.

　　• Experience with Integrated Master Schedules, Integrated Baseline Reviews, and utilizing EVMS as a management tool

　　• Prior experience supporting or leading proposals.

　　Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

　　Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

　　Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
