As part of a hardworking team of diverse avionics engineers and designers, you will design ruggedized electronic enclosures, assemblies, and installations based on challenging requirements flowed down from system architects. You will create CAD models and design documentation with team collaboration. To be successful in this role, you will need to optimally perform these duties: design, develop, and test robust electronics enclosures and mechanical assemblies; create 3-D CAD models and part, assembly, and installation drawings; create specifications and work process instructions; lead or participate in engineering design reviews; coordinate procurement of parts and assemblies; design test fixtures and fabrication tooling; participate in or provide technical guidance for hardware installations; and report regularly on status of schedules and technical progress.
