Prime Responsibilities - To do guest requests as priority to all other work. - To pick up linen from room attendants regularly throughout the day. - To do guest laundry pick up every morning. Deliver guest laundry back to room at requested time. - Be responsible for stocking all storerooms on the floors with the supplies needed by the room attendants. - The evening house person will refill all chemical bottles for the following day. - Be responsible for delivering all clean linen to the floors and distributing all linen and toweling evenly. - All house persons to action all housekeeping, guest and supervisor requests without delay. All guest requests must be completed within 10 minutes. - If understaffed to assist in the cleaning of guestrooms. - Collect guest laundry for cleaning, deliver guest laundry. - Action all requests from housekeeping coordinator. - Collect lost property from rooms and public areas. - Action all guest requests within 10 minutes, complete all supervisor requests. - Empty all ashtrays and garbage bins on floors. - Dust tables, lamps, chairs, picture frames and ledges, vacuum corridors every day. - Keep service areas clean and tidy at all times. - Clean fire stairs regularly. - At end of day bring chemicals and baskets down for re stocking. - Empty linen from room attendants trolley regularly. - Stock store rooms with room supplies. - Empty garbage bins in service areas. - Send soiled linen down to laundry when required. - Keep service areas free of extra beds, cots, trays etc. - Mop service area regularly. - Ensure linen shute is locked at all times. - Responsible for the collection of all dirty linen and toweling from maids trolley at regular intervals. Responsible for the delivery of all linen requirements to Maids Service. Responsible for the daily cleaning of all ashtrays in all guest Lift Lobby areas. Responsible for the delivery of all irons, ironing boards, bases, bedboards and extra beds to all guest rooms. Ensure that all items removed from the Housekeeping Office are correctly tagged and all items are returned after use. Assist in the moving of all furniture and equipment as instructed by the Housekeeper. Assist in the cleaning of Spring Cleaning and refurbished guest rooms and areas as assigned by the Assistant Housekeeper/Housekeeper. <
