  Description

  We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Hardware Catalog Manager to join our dynamic procurement team. This pivotal role not only involves the meticulous management of our extensive IT hardware catalog but also places a significant emphasis on optimizing procurement processes and ensuring compliance across the ever-evolving technology landscape. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining strong supplier relationships, negotiating favorable agreements, and supporting IT hardware procurement across the LATAM and North America regions. Additionally, your expertise in system management, particularly in the Coupa procurement system, will be crucial in streamlining operations and leveraging technology for efficiency gains.   Key job responsibilities

  Catalog Management:Create and maintain an extensive catalog of IT hardware products, workstations, laptops, desktops, peripherals, and accessories.

  Regularly update product listings with accurate specifications, pricing, availability, and supplier information.

  Supplier Relations:Establish and maintain strong relationships with IT hardware suppliers and vendors.

  Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements for the organization.

  Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.

  Cost Optimization:Analyze market trends and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved procurement efficiency.

  Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining product quality and availability.

  Compliance and Standards:Ensure all IT hardware catalog items comply with relevant industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.

  Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and technology advancements to inform catalog updates.

  System Management:Oversee and manage the procurement system to ensure efficient catalog maintenance and procurement processes.

  Collaborate with internal corporate IT teams to configure and optimize the procurement system for IT Hardware procurement needs.

  Provide internal-user training and support to the team to enhance system utilization and accuracy.

  Regional Support (LATAM and North America):Provide specialized support for IT hardware procurement in the LATAM and North America regions.

  Understand and address regional procurement requirements and regulations.

  Collaborate with local teams to ensure seamless procurement processes.

  RFQs, ASN, and cXML Standardization:Manage the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process for IT hardware procurement, ensuring timely responses from suppliers.

  Standardize Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN) and cXML transactions to enhance procurement efficiency and accuracy.

  Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed records of catalog changes, supplier agreements, and procurement activities.

  Generate regular reports on catalog performance, cost savings, and supplier performance.

  We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

  San Jose, CRI

  Basic Qualifications

  3 + years of experience in IT procurement, catalog management, or a similar role within the IT industry.

  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience

  Strong knowledge of IT hardware products, specifications, ,industry trends and catalog maintenance.

  Experience working with data analysis for cost optimization.

  Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

  Speak, read and write in English Language.

  Preferred Qualifications

  5+ years' experience in quality, performance improvement, and/or project management required.

  Certification in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and/or Project Management strongly preferred.

  Proficiency in Coupa.
