What's the role?

　　We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Tech Lead to join our HERE Professional Services - Global Solution Engineering team.

　　In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and testing complex software customer solutions. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project, product, and engineering teams, as well as interface with customers around the globe. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and implementing cloud services, embedded or mobile clients for various industries, including Automotive, Transports and Logistics. As the go-to person for technical questions regarding the assigned project scope, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of software design, implementation, integration, and quality.

　　Key Responsibilities-

　　Solution, Scope, and Delivery:

　　Support opportunity quotation initiatives by providing technical analysis, component design, and effort estimates for the assigned scope.Contribute to understanding and clarifying requirements while supporting the Product Owner in backlog creation.Document the technical solutions, taking into consideration customer requirements and project architecture.Assume the role of the technical authority within the assigned project scope, actively participating and contributing to all development phases with hands-on software development contribution. 

　　Technical Leadership:

　　Guide teams towards a shared technical vision and delegate implementation tasks effectively.Lead internal and external teams to accomplish project goals within predetermined timelines, budget, and quality standards.Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to colleagues, fostering their professional growth.Strengthen the team by adopting frameworks and practices related to project management, technical decision-making, collaboration, and communication.Lead internal work-streams contributing to Engineering strategic development. 

　　Communication and Stakeholder Management:

　　Effectively communicate project status, accomplishments, dependencies, obstacles, and action plans.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the software system and actively participate in code reviews and development activities.Clearly communicate complex technical solutions to program stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical individuals.Act as a technical point of contact between the program and development teams.Collaborate closely with Solution Architects to shape the software solution and design detailed technical solutions.Collaborate with the functional manager and program managers in planning, work allocation, execution, and risk management.

　　Who are you?

　　10+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar technical field with a Bachelor's/Master's degree.Expertise in one of the following technical domains: Embedded, Mobile, Cloud. Proficiency in modern programming languages, technologies, and concepts (example: object oriented design, design patterns, C++, Java, Swift, Javascript/TypeScript, Flutter/Dart, React)Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD methodologies.Strong technical expertise and experience in software development and architecture.Proven leadership and mentoring skills, guiding and inspiring teams.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for complex problems.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.Ability to evaluate and propose new technologies and improvements.Knowledge of software development best practices and engineering standards.Experience with EMEA automotive OEM and integrators is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.We encourage you to apply even if your profile does not meet all the requirements for this position.
