　　…lead the Flexo Hardware R&D team that is responsible for Esko’s Flexo printing eco-system. You will be responsible for product specification, design and development for the various products in the team’s portfolio. In this job, you will work closely together with product management, technical experts, quality engineers, documentation, support and UX (User Experience) teams within Esko. You will report to the R&D Director of the Flexo Hardware R&D team.

　　Contribute to the product specification and design discussions conducted within the cross-functional team.

　　Lead key projects with R&D to support business goals

　　Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with Marketing and Operations

　　Transfer new technologies, products, and manufacturing processes into and out of the company

　　Research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment.

　　Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of goal

　　Assess the scope of research projects and ensure they are on time and within budget

　　Be present at customers to understand their needs and translate them into strategies

　　Develop, execute an monitor R&D budget

　　Independently manage recruitment and development of R&D staff

　　Your Education and/or Background Experience will include:

　　A master’s degree in the relevant field

　　A bachelor’s degree may be acceptable with experience in R&D and/or project management

　　Great problem solving skills

　　Excellent leadership and managerial skills

　　Relevant languages: English and German spoken and written fluently

　　Experience in project management is considered as a plus
